Sos Tosis for an Orphan's Wedding

One of the Rebbe's chassidim was an orphan, and as his wedding approached he asked the Rebbe to perform the kiddushin. He did not know that his future in-laws had already given that honor to another Rebbe. When the family met the Rebbe and explained the situation, the Rebbe said that he would be content to give the bracha of Sos Tosis V'sageil HaAkarah, the barren one will rejoice, words that refer to Eretz Yisroel and Yerushalayim.
A member of the family who had no children answered Amen loudly. About a year later he had children.
