The Missing Relative in Hungary
Parnassah
While the Rebbe was in Romania, which was relatively safe at that time, he knew that his relatives in Hungary were in grave danger. Mrs. Shternbuch sent him money, which he used to pay a man to take him into Hungary and try to save his family. The man agreed to go on condition that they leave the very next day.
A relative of theirs could not be found, and the Rebbe wanted to stay one more day to look for her. The guide refused and said he would go without them. As the family discussed what to do, the missing woman walked in. She told them that in a dream her father, the Kedushas Tzion, had instructed her to go and join her family.
