Where Are the True Gedolim
Whenever Rav Elchonon spoke of yeshivaleit he would ask when we would receive true gedolim. Rabbonim, he said, we have plenty of, but who will bring us the genuine gedolim? He wanted and demanded that bnei Torah become true gedolei Torah, and even from the older talmidim he constantly asked for more and more.
