All good deeds join together to make the world as a whole better and better. Even when a moral relapse seems very evident and many have yet to become wiser and more faithful, the world as a whole is becoming purer with every passing year, day and minute, because no instant goes by without many good deeds. The final redemption is no longer a dream of the distant future but an imminent reality. This generation, the Rebbe said, is the last generation of exile and the first generation of redemption.
