Eretz Yisroel

Hashem has enabled the Jewish people to live as a sovereign nation in the Holy Land, the land of our forefathers. This places a special burden and privilege on its citizens and government to preserve the Jewish character of the country. Its education must be built on Jewish values and tradition, so that its citizens grow up as proud keepers of their heritage, and its representatives abroad should assert that Jewish pride. According to the Rebbe, Jewish law sets the conditions for the peace and safety of Eretz Yisroel, which can come only from military strength and secure borders, since any sign of strategic weakness encourages terror in Eretz Yisroel and abroad.
